There’s a difference between Green, Blue and White caps for mineral water.
White Cap
First of all, White cap is not mineral water; it’s a reverse osmosis.
It’s even written on the bottle, “Air paip yang dirawat.”
With that said, it’s not good for drinking too. Because it has no minerals in it. Our body needs minerals.
According to DrRizal, RO water was first designed to clean the machines in factories.
Here’s the story.
People in factory found that some machines have ‘kulat’ on it. And the best water to clean it is using water that has no minerals in it.
If it has mineral, the ‘kulat’ will grow more.
So, let me emphasize this to you: RO water is actually not for drinking. Even though it’s written on the bottle, “Air minuman”.
Nonetheless, those suffering from kidney disesase need to choose this, as minerals in mineral water might be challenging for the kidney to process.
Blue Cap & Green Cap
Blue & Green Caps are both mineral water.
But the Blue ones need to go through ‘penyulingan’. Hence, less mineral compared to the Green ones.
The Green ones are rich with minerals. No ‘penyulingan’.
That’s why the Green ones are more expensive. Just like why natural food are expensive.
The Best Ones in Malaysia
Regardless of these colors, I believe Malaysia’s best mineral water is Air Gau.
If it’s rich in minerals, and considered best, why does it have a White cap?
It’s because it has no ‘kelulusan’ from the government. You can read more here: https://azzainmart.com/halal/air-gau/
Nonetheless, air gau is taken from a place in Maran, the same place where air Darussyifa was taken.
My dearest teacher, Ustaz Haron Din once told that there was a pious man at that place who prayed, asking for water. Not so long after that, the water appeared… Again, you can read it here: https://azzainmart.com/halal/air-gau/
Sometimes the idea to take this water source and create my own brand pops into my mind. One word: Focus.
I wish Neelofa could consider this source instead.
